Your words stay in your browser
Your complaint text is used for the animation and then cleared from the form. It is not sent to our server, stored in our database, or included in certificates or public share links. Submitting a complaint does not require an account.
The shared office
We store anonymous submission IDs, total form counts, paper amounts, and floor numbers so visitors see the same office. The office includes an initial virtual-paper backlog and server-generated automated batches; counts are forms, not unique people. Temporary hashed network identifiers help limit automated abuse. Submission IDs expire after seven days, and rate-limit hashes expire after their enforcement window.
Automated paperwork is labeled in the app and stored as a separate aggregate count. It is not activity from other people. Automated scheduling does not use your complaint text.
Cleanup purchases and tips
The optional purchases are the intern’s vacuum, controlled incineration, the cleanup crew, the industrial incinerator, and a one-room removal truck. You can also leave a coffee tip. See current prices and exactly what each option includes.
Stripe processes these payments for MakerSolo. We store an internal order reference, a Stripe checkout reference, the amount, selected option, optional department name, selected floor, payment status, and remaining cleanup credit. We also record cleanup redemptions to prevent a retry from using the same credit twice. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes the contact and payment information you provide in its checkout under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Your private payment receipt
Your browser stores a private receipt reference in local storage so you can return to your purchase using “View payment receipt” in the footer. It may also store an in-progress cleanup reference so a retry can be recovered safely. The private receipt link can access the purchase and redeem its remaining credit. Keep it private; anyone with it can use that credit. Clearing browser storage removes the saved reference on that device, but does not delete the server’s purchase record. Save your private receipt link first if you need it later.
Sharing and personalized departments
Public shares include the website link, optional company or team name, and a suggested message. Certificate shares may include the certificate ID and date, but never your complaint text. Public sharing controls exclude private payment receipt tokens. Company names in personalized URLs are visible to anyone who receives the link; these novelty departments are not affiliated with the named company.
Sharing is your choice. Selecting a social network, messaging app, or email option opens its composer or sharing interface; it does not automatically post or send a message. The destination service receives the content you choose to share and handles it under its own privacy policy. You can instead copy a public link or save a certificate image.
Service providers and contact
Cloudflare and Hetzner process network requests to deliver and protect the site. Hosting infrastructure may retain routine access and security logs. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. We do not add advertising pixels or analytics trackers.
